About

I'm Noel, founder of Metal Matcha.
Software engineer. Licensed skydiver. Five half marathons. Half Ironman finisher. My life outside of work is as demanding as the work itself, and last year, training for my first half Ironman, I noticed coffee wasn't keeping up.
An hour of focus. Then the crash. Repeat.
I started dabbling with matcha and noticed something different. Smoother, more sustained energy without the spike and drop.
Samurai drank matcha before battle. Not for zen. For focus, calm, and endurance. I like that version better.
So I built Metal Matcha.
Ceremonial grade Samidori matcha from Uji, Japan. First harvest. Stone-ground. One ingredient. 50g pouch. Ships free.
Why Samidori?
Samidori is a specific cultivar grown in Uji, the most respected matcha-producing region in Japan. It's known for its deep umami, natural sweetness, and low bitterness, which is why it's used at the ceremonial level. Most matcha on the market is a generic blend. Samidori is a named variety from a named place. That's the difference.
