Samidori is a specific tea cultivar grown in Uji, Japan, the same region that's produced ceremonial grade matcha for centuries. Ceremonial grade means the youngest leaves, stone-ground, no stems — the highest grade that exists. Most matcha brands use unspecified blends with no cultivar or origin detail. Metal Matcha uses Samidori exclusively. One cultivar, one region, every bag.
